CX3 VS HRV Short Reviews
What To Look From 2019 Mazda CX-3?
There are some upgrades for the latest Mazda with its mild styling. Of course, the new series has a more powerful engine which makes its performance more powerful. Driving is more convenient with the standard armrest and bin. The safety features are awesome and it is also available to all trim levels.
In terms of interior, the Mazda CX-3 is very comfortable and interesting with engaging driving experience, the driver is even more to love the care with the impressive fuel economy. Such a crossover is rare to have these features. The driver aids are cool and safe.
however, some discomforts are found due to its below-average cargo space. The rear seats are cramped and the suspension tuning is too firm.
Driving performance is cool with nice balance and sharp steering. The least comfortable is only the too-tall gearing and also meekly tired which this prevents the driver to get more engagement. The unit has no issue when merging with the highway, but for maintaining speed will need maximum throttle. Another annoying thing is this doesn’t include Android Auto and Apple Carplay. Besides, the low-power USB is a bit turnoff.
What’s New From 2019 Honda HR-V?
A strong competitor of Mazda is coming from Honda with its HR-V series. The car comes with fresh front and the rear styling. There are two new trim levels with New Sport and Touring. Unlike the Mazda CX-3, the Honda HR-V is completed with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Multiple safety suits are also added.
Furthermore, the new series of Honda is an average=size adult which is very comfortable for both the back and front part. The cargo solution is excellent and it is more versatile. Besides, in terms of fuel economy, Honda seems unbeatable compared to the competitors. Additionally, the outward visibility is very excellent.
However, there, of course, some discomfort especially the output result and the noise is pretty palpable. We don’t like the touchscreen interface. It is more difficult to use. For cabin materials, it looks cheaper compared to the Mazda and other rivals.
For driving performance, we cannot compare as both Mazda and Honda have powerful performance. But Honda has a very high score for this segment which performs very good for everyday use. Because of fuel economy feature, this results in sluggish power deliver when we need it.
In terms of utility features, the small-item storage is not so impressive but the safety features are beyond the expectation. However, the user might get disappointed with the voice and touchscreen control. These features are very weak. HAt least it is luckier to get the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
So, that’s all our short comparison between the Mazda CX-3 and Honda HR-V. Which car does interest you the most?
