No doubt that the M5 is the fastest BMW model to date. Yet, the Competition version is not that much of an improvement compared to the standard M5. Either one of those car models from BMW is highly recommended for anyone who is looking for a beautiful and fast car. A bit of tweak and adjustment can be made to get a better level of performance of the car following the manufacture tweaks for the Competition version that includes suspension alteration for better handling. The fuel economy of this car as observed upon a high-performance test is at 15 mpg. On the other hand, the EPA fuel economy of this car is at 17/14/21 mpg of combined/city/highway. Among the fastest BMWs of today, the M5 Competition is no match to many of its competitors in the marketplace.
